The Deep Drawing Advantage

Superior Structural Integrity Without Seams

Deep drawing is a sheet metal forming process wherein a metal blank is radially drawn into a forming die by the mechanical action of a punch. The result is a hollow, 3D part with exceptional structural strength, making it ideal for enclosures and pressure vessels.

At JUMAI Tech, our deep drawn stamping services provide significant advantages over traditional CNC machining or welding. By cold-forming the metal, the grain structure is improved, resulting in stronger parts. It also virtually eliminates material waste and removes the need for costly secondary joining operations.

Seamless Construction

No welding lines, ensuring perfect liquid/gas tight sealing capabilities.

High-Volume Cost Efficiency

Once the progressive die is built, unit costs plummet compared to machining.

Material Expertise

Metals We Form

Deep drawing requires specific material characteristics (high ductility). We have extensive experience fine-tuning our presses and dies to work with a wide variety of commercial and exotic alloys.

Stainless Steel

SUS304, SUS316L, 430.

Ideal for medical housings, food-grade enclosures, and corrosion-resistant sensor caps.

Aluminum Alloys

Al 1050, 3003, 5052, 6061.

Lightweight shielding cans, battery casings, and heat-dissipating enclosures.

Copper & Brass

C11000, C2680 (Brass).

Excellent for electrical contacts, connector housings, and high-conductivity terminals.

Carbon Steel

SPCC, SECC, SGCC.

Cost-effective structural components, motor housings, and automotive hardware parts.

Our Workflow

How We Bring Your Design to Life

Because we build our own stamping dies, we control the quality and lead time from day one.

1

DFM & Quote

Our engineers evaluate your CAD drawing for deep drawing feasibility (Design for Manufacturability) to avoid thinning or tearing.

2

In-House Die Making

Instead of outsourcing, our tooling department designs and CNC-machines the progressive or transfer dies in-house.

3

Stamping Production

Using precision mechanical and hydraulic presses, blanks are drawn into their final 3D geometry seamlessly.

4

Finishing & QC

Trimming, cleaning, optional plating/anodizing, followed by dimensional inspection using CMM equipment.
